Melinda graduated from Sinclair Community College in 1998, with an Associate’s Degree in an Applied Science for Dental Hygiene. Melinda was also awarded an Associate’s Degree in an Applied Science for Dental Assisting from the Community College of the Air Force in 2000. In 2016, she retired from the United States Air Force/Air Force Reserves after completing 20 years of service. In Melinda’s spare time, she loves spending time with her family and traveling.
Smile Innovations welcomed Linda to our staff in 2018 with 5+ years of experience as a Practice Manager in Dentistry. She earned her Bachelors degree from UC and her MHA degree from Ohio University.
Linda enjoys spending time with her 2 married sons and their families and she is blessed with 5 grandchildren. You can often find her on the soccer fields, basketball courts, dance and cheerleading practices cheering for her grandchildren and loving every minute of it! Linda also love the beaches in Florida and the Caribbean, camping, hiking, boating and water sports as well as traveling locally and abroad.
Linda is our Practice Coordinator and patient advocate. She updates patient’s records, handles insurance and appeals, facilitates with check-in, scheduling and financial arrangements. Her favorite part of her job is meeting our patients and getting to know them and their family.
Dr. Kimberly Luna graduated from The Ohio State University in 2006 with a BA in Speech and Hearing Sciences, and attended The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, receiving her degree in 2010. While at OSU, she worked with the Athletic Department as one of the Student Team Dentists from 2009-2010.After graduation she completed a General Practice Residency at the Dayton VA, earning a certification in Forensic Dentistry.
Dr. Luna practiced general dentistry as a contractor in the U.S. Air Force Dental Corps from 2011-2015 at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, Dayton Dental Society, and Ohio State University College of Dentistry Alumni Society. When she’s not helping patients, Kim enjoys cooking, baking, gardening, and painting.
